  • Drive AFMEIT's commercial strategy and P&L across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
  • Manage and grow a large volume, almost 75-80% of the total business, i.e., approximately 1.15 million MT of annual PP and PE offtake sourced from Middle East JVs, Asian JVs, US, and European assets.
  • Drive pricing governance for weekly, monthly, and annual formula-based contracts.
  • Drive JV offtake allocation, swaps, and regional prioritization through S&OP, and netback analysis.
  • Drive discussions with JV partners, planning, supply chain, and regional sales teams to align plant loading and product mix.
  • Drive discussion for value uplift with other stakeholders out of BIT, i.e., BSM, APS Brazil, BAP, and EQS, etc.
  • KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
  • Profitability enhancement through volume allocation swaps and distributions from low-value regions to high-value market regions. i.e., in 2021, appx. 200 KT volume swap from China, BAP, to Africa and Turkey, to protect margins during market volatility post-COVID-19.
  • Drive discussions to offload almost 80-100 Kt yearly volume from ME JVs to the EU market.
  • Executed approximately 25% additional sales growth in LDPE, sourced from EQS Asset/LIP JV, with a focus on Africa and Turkey.
  • Value enhancements across the price formula contracts mainly in Turkey regions, linking from Raffia to Fiber.
  • Value enhancement for Natpet by maximizing copolymers' offtake.
  • Value enhancement through sales into new territory.
  • Marketing excellence drives on various segments, i.e., (PP Flexible/Rigid Packaging and Textile).
  • Drive ME JV netbacks swing results at the win/tie level.
  • Enabled the commercialization of four new PP grades across Middle East and Asian joint venture sources.
