Incubator/accelerator programmes and technology partnerships

1. Spearheaded the first of its kind 'UK-India energy incubation platform' in collaboration with the Department of International Development (DFID) and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), to help British businesses enter the challenging energy market in India. Provided bespoke assistance and guidance to top 10 (out of 100) innovative UK companies in the energy space (specifically in energy efficiency, storage, smart grid, renewables). An estimated £11 million was generated in business contracts.

2. Project lead for the 'Urban gateway programe' funded by DFID. Collaborated with multiple stakeholders in the urban development sector to bring financial investors and an international supply chain to India. Curated a group of 30 International businesses with innovative technology solutions across urban sectors (including waste and water management, intelligent transport systems, urban planning and management, sustainable built environment and smart energy solutions) and facilitated partnerships with Indian stakeholders for promotion of smart and sustainable cities.
