MECHANICAL DEISIGN ENGINEER Detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with 3.2 years of hands-on experience in designing pressure vessels, cryogenic systems, and various mechanical components. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Engineering:
• Pressure Vessel/Cryogenic Vessel Design: Adhere to standards like EN13458-2 ANNEX-C and ASME SEC-VIII Div.1& 2.
• General Arrangement Drawing: Create comprehensive layout plans for projects.
• Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID): Develop detailed diagrams showing the interconnection of the process equipment and instrumentation.
• External and Internal Piping Drawing: Design piping for cryogenic vessels, both inside and outside.
• Plant Layout Modelling and 2D Drawings: Create plant layouts and corresponding detailed drawings.
• Piping Design and 2D Drawing (Package): Design and draft detailed piping systems.
Manufacturing Support:
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability.
• Design for Assembly (DFA): Ensure designs are optimized for assembly processes.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T): Apply GD&T principles for precise manufacturing and inspection.
• Material Selection and Sourcing: Choose appropriate materials and source them efficiently.
Specialized Equipment Design:
• Pressure Building Unit and Vaporizer: Design and detail pressure-building units and vaporizers.
• Buffer Vessel Design: Design buffer vessels to meet specific requirements.
• Welding Detail Drawing Preparation: Prepare detailed drawings for welding.
Ancillary Drawings:
• Transportation and Handling Drawing: Develop drawings for safe transportation and handling.
• Nameplate Drawing: Design nameplates for equipment identification.
• Logo Drawing: Create logos for company or product branding.
• PID Plate & Sticker Drawing: Design plates and stickers for process identification.
Documentation and Support:
• As-Built Drawings: Prepare drawings reflecting the completed project.
• Part Drawing: Draft detailed drawings of individual parts.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation: Compile comprehensive lists of materials and components.
• Skid Design and 2D Drawing: Design skids and prepare detailed drawings.
Shop Floor Interaction:
• Shop Floor Visits: Visit the shop floor to resolve any issues or provide clarifications related to design or manufacturing.
