Product Development Engineer -Connected Ambient Light (CAL)

• To work on Active Ambient Light product and align end to end EE development activities(life cycle management & New development)
• Handling multiple carlines involved with different SW features for both HW and SW development
• Exposed to working in CAL ECU SW AUTOSAR architecture from the OEM standpoint
• Having good exposure in working with Ethernet and CAN protocol from the OEM standpoint
• Alignment with EE- systems based on the new feature development from the functions perspective and release planned for the targeted programs
• To maintain the PN database and make sure it is available for all the Engineering and plant and aftersales
• To create Engineering change and work with all stakeholders thereby ensuring the changes are documented in the internal system
• Planning the correct release time plan to bring the SW/HW change accordingly to the issue scenario and severity
• Aligning the Supplier and respective stakeholders internal to the change that is planned and release implementation accordingly
• For all release deliverables are planned prior, and it will be shared across with all the respective stakeholders
• Bug fix/ Modified SW will go through the Diagnostic security testing and CDD changes validation (BTV Coordination)
• SW is validated in component HIL and then it is provided to Static and Dynamic vehicle level testing (BTV Coordination)
• Field issues will be addressed with the right root cause and immediate SW release and fix will be planned accordingly to available at aftersales
• Analyzing the testing and build issues through Canoe tool with the help of traces and closed based on the priority manner along with the fix plan
• PPAP documents review, approval for both HW & SW PPAP and aligning before the customer vehicles build plant implementation
• New development in Base SW stack update changes been coordinated and implemented as per the OEM requirement
• Daily /Biweekly sync up calls on the project specific/Quality topics with supplier and closely monitor the open issues, ensuring it is closed in timely manner
• Monthly status will be shared and highlighted to internal management on the ECU side, ongoing with respect to working projects

Mechatronics–Product Engineer Active Grill Shutter (AGS) Design and CAE (February2021 - October 2021)

• To lead this AGS from India on the design side and closely working along with CAE for NAFTA projects
• To understand the design requirments and changes needs to be done should be cordinated and aligned with local CAD team
• Based on the design concurrence it is shared with CAE for analysis and accordingly design will be modified

Mechatronics–VO Driver (Value Optimization) (February2021 - October 2021)

• To lead this VO driver from India in Mechatronics parts for China program
• Benchmarking and BOM comparison will be done at the initial level for kick starting the ideas
• Based on the several stages of analysis optimization will be getting finalized with an idea and once gets approval then moving towards the implementation according to the change impact in the development timeline
• To integrate the Seat applications different ECUs to each seat single ECU considering all seat related applications.

Mechatronics–Product Engineer Power Lift gate Module (PLGM) Design & Development (August 2019- October 2021)

• To design and develop the PLGM/HFA for India market.
• Having exposure in component level working with (Power Liftgate Module, Spindle Motors, Hands Free Assy liftgate (Kick operated))
• Having experience in creating CCD’s for the India program with hardware & software changes and follow-up with Global team ensuring change is reflected
• To verify and release (Design Release) the parts in Teamcenter for global use as per the OEM standards by freezing the design according to respective vehicle timeline
• To understand the functional objectives and technical requirements of the PLGM/HFA module and finalize the both hardware and software along with other end to end device
• I have been actively working towards component specific application as a whole PLGM/HFA system for meeting the electrical device requirements (Both device, circuits side)
• I have created a functional block diagram for better understanding of the overall electrical circuits and other end device applications as a single system along with a previous base model comparison
• Having exposure in defining the circuits based on the module requirement as per the vehicle line by the use of Ispeed (Wiring Database)
• To ensure the diagnostics changes been captured thereby co-coordinating with Electrical Architecture (EAI) team for PLGM /HFAmodule on various impact such as (SED, DDT, VF, Topology, HWI, ITS) before sharing it to supplier
• To analyze and coordinate with the supplier for DFMEA and DVP thereby ensuring the OEM standards and requirements are met
• To review and approve the DV and PV plan and report therby ensuring that part specification standards is met as per the vehicle requirements
• Supporting to bench validation for the smooth commisiioning,EOL issues and providing the on time Sw release files and taking lead on closing the GIMS(Global Issue Management Issue System) issues raised on priorty basis

Mechatronics–Product Engineer Comfort Seat Wheel Module (CSWM) Design & Development (August 2019- October 2021)

• To design and develop CSWM for India market.
• Having exposure in component level working with (CSWM,Vent motors, Thermistor)
• I have worked for the critical GIMS ticket (Global Issue Management Issue System) before the ROW market launch
• Supporting on the successful launch thereby coordinating the software activity of finding the root cause and accomplishing the software update by working along with the supplier
• To understand the build issues on the seat module and work accordingly in order to meet the build timeline

Electrical Components Design & Development (Jan 2018-August 2019)

• To design and support in developing the EE Components for different vehicle models across NAFTA&India market
• Having exposure in component level working with (BCM,RFHM,ErgonomicSwitches)
• To analyze the possible positions for mounting the component in vehicle based on the best practices/ lessons learned as a input
• To categorize specific mandatory standards both hardware and software requirements for EE components
• Preparing the EDP and DAP updates and releasing the documents as per vehicle milestone timeline

Switch Development

• Based on OEM requirement for specific switch application design and electrical wiring preliminary support
• Switch Benchmarking with various existing vehicles and selection of appropriate as per vehicle specific requirement
• Analysis of the connector, terminals selection for both device and wiring connector end

Bench Marking Involvement:

• I have been participated in bench marking with the Electric/ Hybrid Vehicles technologies and analyzing current market trend in these segments
• Study done on the individual technologies like (Motors, Inverters, Batteries) across different markets

Wiring Harness Design (Cross-Functional)

• To support in working with various model lines wiring and identifying the wire routing issues by root causing and providing the right solutions

Powertrain Electrical (Cross-Functional)

• To support in working with HC Sensor packaging study for the enhancement in EVAP engine
• Having Exposure with packaging analysis for GPEC 2,GPEC3,GPEC4 ECM (Engine Control Module) verifying as per Design standards of OEM for various model lines
• To support on pigtail routings for Powertrain Electrical Components by using NX thereby creating specific altrep models to add inside the specific vehicle line
• To support in working with warranty analysis on O2 sensors for various in production models
• Verifying the 3D wiring model in complete vehicle based on the wiring design standards
• To work with running real harness (100%) in UG NX and verifying design with respect to applicable variant
