• I have performed a detailed techno commercial evaluation to explore this concept for PDH/PP complex of an LNG producer in Indian West coast which is first of its kind in the World and under execution. The proximity and synergy of Petrochemical complex with LNG terminal, leveraging cold energy offers tremendous potential for reducing CO2 emissions by utilization of Cold energy for Cryogenic processes and Cooling purpose.
• I have been actively pursuing Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) concept which refers to the generation of thermal energy from concentrated direct normal irradiance (DNI) from the sun though mirrors. One of the main focus area is Crude oil distillation which is an energy intensive process consuming around 25% of a refinery’s total energy consumption and thus the novel idea of integrating the CST with the Crude unit by way of transferring the solar heat to the crude oil for increasing the furnace inlet temperature and thereby reducing the furnace duty by 10-15%.

• I was awarded with prestigious “Executive of the Year” in the Year 2020 in my Organization.
• As a member of Strategic Business Development group of the company, I have been part of formulation of strategic roadmap to develop business plan for Solar initiatives, exploring business opportunities for implementing Concentrated Solar Thermal technology in refineries/ petrochemical plants.
• I am significantly contributing towards this goal by making O&G sector energy efficient by implementing innovative measures like cold energy integration, energy benchmarking etc.
• I was part of a Quality Circle Team for developing an indigenous automated software application tool for sizing steam coil inside a tank/ vessel which would benefit users for doing in a time effective manner.
• I am acting as a Department Proposal Coordinator for process division as an additional duty and heavily involved in evaluating the proposals in line with company’s strategic vision and responsible for providing process inputs to the marketing department for further action.
• I am a member of the Document Review Committee (DRC) and responsible for updating/revising the process design guidelines with latest practices from the ongoing projects under execution. This enabled saving of efforts or time for future projects for which I received several appreciations from various stakeholders.
• I am assisting the Chairperson of the Technical Committee for petrochemical sector under Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS), 2023 which has constituted National Steering Committee for Indian Carbon Market (NSCICM) to have direct oversight of the functioning of Indian Carbon Market.
