Client Description:

Barclays is a leading global financial institution, offering a wide range of banking and financial services. The company leverages advanced IT solutions to enhance customer experiences, drive innovation, and ensure robust security in financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Worked on enhancements of a Python-based automation tool and maintained its code base.
• Work involves in both the Backend part, which uses Flask, a micro web framework, and the Front end built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Evaluated workflow of the tool, different API endpoints of the tool, and their communication with the other systems like JIRA, etc.
• Built a few additional features which involves in REST APIs that collects configuration data from various kinds of form Front-End and stores in both env files and databases (SQLite) on the UNIX servers.
• Built a log-downloader interface on the tool, which downloads the logs for the users.
• Optimized some portions of the tool, making its features faster by 10%.

Worked as Research Assistant (M.Tech) in the Robotics lab at IIT Hyderabad.

• Worked on a couple of drone projects, one of which was to develop an in-house flight controller for multicopter drones.
• Developed algorithms for the flight controller and tested it using simulations using MATLAB, SIMULINK, Python, and performed numerous experiments.
• Fabricated two drones in the lab using the PixHawk Flight controller and wrote a swarm Drone algorithm using Python, which involves the drones to communicate, collaborate, and perform a given task, like lifting a mass from one place to a targeted location autonomously.

Additional role:

Served as a TA for the Arduino programming lab for the Bachelor students, introducing them to robotics and having them perform various Arduino experiments.
