Hand detection and finger counting using OpenCV and NumPy (Capstone Project)

• Developed a Python program to detect and capture the human hand using a camera, segment the hand regions in the frame, and count the number of fingers raised using the techniques of image processing
• It helped detect the number of fingers raised accurately, with an approximate accuracy of 97% for the subjects chosen for the demonstration

E-Commerce Product Recommender System Using Python (Internship Project)

• Developed a Python program that acts as an e-commerce product recommender system by leveraging the techniques of collaborative and content-based filtering, along with data analysis, to classify commerce products into three distinctive categories: frequently bought items, similar products, and recommended products from the given dataset of products sold in the European Union and the USA
• The developed product recommender system successfully classified the products into the abovementioned categories with an accuracy of 98%, along with providing important metrics such as recall value, and mean average precision
