Landscape study for Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN) by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Feb 2024-ongoing

• Conduct a comprehensive mapping of relevant policies, programs, initiatives, and schemes related to climate and nutrition (additional focus on agriculture) across all states to understand the existing landscape.
• Identify and map key national-level stakeholders from government, private sector, non-profit organizations, bilateral organizations, donor organizations, think tanks, academia, research, etc., crucial to achieving the project's goals.
• Develop a methodology aligned with the global I-CAN approach and execute a baseline assessment across all states, focusing on the selected indicators. Present the key findings and highlight noteworthy programs identified during the assessment.
• Undertake national and state-level consultations to foster an understanding of current opportunities and challenges.

Economic Diversification and Future of Work (Research and Development of Macro and Micro-Economic Assessment of the State of Jharkhand and the select coal Districts) for UNDP, Dec 2023-ongoing

• Landscape assessment of the current economic standing of the state in terms of its sectoral contributions to the state economy, its industrial profile, and the multiplier effects of sectoral linkages.
• Developing a livelihood and skilling framework for the rehabilitation of coal-based workers.
• Suggest policy and budgetary recommendations for the implementation of a just transition.

Baseline assessment of Maternal Health and Nutrition project implemented by CINI-ABF, Dec 2023-Apr 2024

• Assess the current state of maternal and child healthcare in Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of sanitation and hygiene conditions, decade-long trends in non-communicable diseases, prenatal and antenatal care, neonatal care, and adolescent health while also reviewing the current services provided by ANM, ASHA, and ICDS.

Project Monitoring and Evaluation of CSR projects supported by NSE Foundation across India, Dec 2021-Apr 2023

• Managed approximately INR 60 crore portfolio for the NSE Foundation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
• Managed projects in the areas of climate change, natural resource management, and sustainable agriculture, health, and nutrition.
• Supervised and monitored the implementation of the assigned projects, organizations, or agencies on a periodic basis, which include onsite visits on a quarterly basis.
• Apprised NSE Foundation of its observations from such oversight and evaluation by way of regular quarterly reports.
• Identified gaps and lapses in the implementation of the ongoing projects, analyze their impact on the successful completion, and recommended necessary and reasonable course correction measures.
• Recommended disbursements by NSE Foundation to the partner organizations or agencies from time to time, based on the milestones achieved by the partner organizations in their respective projects.

Effectiveness and Adequacy of Cash and In-Kind Transfers under Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Yojana for Urban Poor and Migrants: Performance, Challenges, and Opportunities, KfW Germany, 2020

• Evaluating the state of social security for migrant households and non-migrant urban poor, COVID-19 related impact and institutional relief response provided under Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY), macro and micro-level challenges and enablers, gender differentials in accessing social protection, and existing recommendations/ solutions identified to enhance social security for this population

Data Collection Survey on Status of Migrant Labour in India, with focus on Social Protection. Japan International Cooperation Agency, 2021.

• Formulating assistance/cooperation strategies of JICA India to enhance socio-economic well-being and social protection for migrant population, especially migrant labor, in India.

Evaluation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Social Inclusion, Law and Order, and Justice Delivery, NITI Aayog, Government of India, 2020

• Sectoral study addressing the aspect of social development comprising of (i) social inclusion and economic empowerment of marginalized communities, while also including (ii) the enablers for social inclusion such as law and order and justice delivery. The study included assessment of Centrally Sponsored Schemes under the Ministry of Social Justice, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Law and Justice.
