Roles & Responsibilities :

• Hands on experience on migration project like ADSO-IDMS to CICS-COBOL-DB2 and platform migration from Z/OS to Microfocus
• Involved in code conversion, enhancing , unit testing of ADSO-IDMS code to CICS-COBOL-DB2
• Requirement analysis, coding, migrating all the components from Mainframe to Windows, unit testing both in Mainframe and Microfocus and ensuring that they are in sync.
• Involved in bug fixes and error analysis
• Involved in on boarding and guiding new team members
• Involved in test case preparation and system Testing
• Layout analysis of the files and migrating them from mainframe to windows.
• Involved in peer review,maintaining source control using IBM Rational Clearcase.
