  • Entered FMCG industry by launching my own brand, Frubee, (now closed) in Nov. 2017. This brand was in the dry fruits segment.
  • Launched my snack brand Jaambu in March 2019.
  • For the first two years, I personally went from store to store everyday in Pune and Bombay to set up these brands. I hired salesmen for Jaambu only in 2019.
  • Frubee was withdrawn in 2021 because the dry fruits business was not very profitable and Jaambu was growing fast.
  • Jaambu is successfully selling in more than 400 stores in Bombay and Pune with sales of 12 to 15 lakhs per month.
  • This business is currently being operated by my family and does not require my involvement other than on an advisory basis.

  • Based on my experience operating the logistics business, I launched TruckRaja.com.with a partner.
  • Launched in 2013, TruckRaja.com was conceptualized as an 'Uber for trucks.'
  • TruckRaja.com was shut down in the pre-funding stage due to differences of opinions among the partners. Thereafter, I exited the logistics business completely.

  • Owned an operated a sheesham wood furniture store in Model Colony, Pune.
  • in hindsight, the established locality of Model Colony was the wrong location for a furniture showroom. Probably should have opened it in a developing area in Pune's outskirts.
  • Despite a pivot into a becoming a design studio and launching furniture packages for 1, 2, 3 BHK homes, had to shut down the business due to low footfall and sales.
