- Creating the Sunbird-enabled EDTech platform for the Indian context involves enabling access to learning opportunities for millions of users.Enabling Large Scale Societal Transformation by Developing Open-source Digital Public Goods (#DPGs) for Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Led Growth and Adoption for Sunbird Building Blocks (sunbird.org, cdpi.dev)
- Lead the creation of one India’s most prolific open source projects (www.sunbird.org) which is used by the Govt. of India to enable huge societal impact in India:
i) Improving access to learning opportunities to 200mn+ children and capacity building of 7mn+ teachers
ii) Driving comprehensive governance reform in India through upskilling of government officials - Leads a cross functional team that uses a combination of data analysis and user research to improve key activation, engagement and retention metrics for the portal
- Being both a platform and product Associate, I am responsible for working closely with teachers, students, parents, NGOs and government stakeholders across the country to carve out a roadmap in a way that the capabilities are configurable, extendable, yet learner centric – and can cater to a variety of usecases (learning, teaching and administration of learning).
