Responsibilities:

Worked on data migration, the on-premises DB objects from Teradata (DB) and files hosted on (ETL tool) to Snowflake DB (Cloud). Analyzed the mappings, dependency, objects, schedules, workflows and DB structures to migrate informatica objects respective DB to snowflake by writing snowflakes sql.

Workdone:

• Migrated Data from Teradata to Snowflake using Python numpy, panda,data automation,ensuring schema, data validation, and bug resolutions met project requirements and quality standards.
• Leveraged tools such as Snowflake, Teradata, Postman, REST APls, and Git to design and implement efficient solutions for data migration.
• Customized REST APls to automate data migration process, leading to more efficient and accurate results.
• Collaborated with Neuro-Cognition Engineering team to debug and enhance EDM tool, addressing issues encountered during migration process.
• Utilized Snowflake objects like Tables (Permanent/Transient/Temp), File Formats, stages(internal/external),storage integration, external tables.
• Worked on JIRA defect fixing and bugs caused during deployment of tables.

Achievements:

• Successful migrated Teradata objects to Snowflake DB.
• Achieved 97.4% Data accuracy when migrated to Snowflake DB.

Responsibilites:

Working on a T-Mobile Data Migration Project responsible to successfully implement Unified Data Platform where we migrated Teradata objects to Snowflake. Once the code is working fine moved the code to pre prod and dev environments by following change management process.

Workdone:

• Transformed Teradata production DDLs to fit Snowflake DB and Schema, conducting thorough analysis before executing in SF environment, assuring project specifications compliance.
• Developing, testing & debugging overall performance of the objects.
• Implemented cluster keys on large tables to improve performance.
• Worked on Snowpipe for continuous data loads from S3.
• Worked on applying data masking policies on sensitive data
• DDL validation, Data validation, count validation, Testing of views, Stored procedure and BTEQ scripts.

• Proficiently handled end to end Git lab Deployment process.
• Monitoring pipelines using orchestration tool Apache Airflow and making sure right data being Extracted and Loaded.
• Involved in building ingestion layer to get data from different source systems data into snowflake.
• Established systematic process to ensure comprehensive scans and timely sharing with Review analyst.
