- Stacking the ballast in railway’s depot and formation cess as required to the project.
- Testing the ballast as per IRS-GE-1 i.e. aggregate impact value abrasion and water absorption test.
- Pre welding inspection, preparation of rail joints before welding, the general procedure of welding, Execution of welding and finishing of welded rail joints and acceptance test to ensure quality control.
- Keeping the record of welds, checking the finishing of welded rail joints by visual inspection. Fusion welding of rails by Alumino-thermate process, preparation of rail joint for AT welding.
- Welded rail joints test to be like USFD(Ultrasonic Flaw Detection), parameter check of welded rail joints
- Replacing the old sleeper by trough sleeper renewal and old rail by trough rail renewal & deep screening work.
- Carried out the marking of points and X-ing as per ESP and laying the track.
- Placing the Fanshaped turn out assembly as per RDSO drawing and their related fittings.
- Keeping the record of materials i.e. purchased by RVNL as well as supplied by contractor.
- Laying of 60 KG and 52 KG switch expansion joints (SEJ) as required in yard and block section.
- Laying of DS (Derailing switch) as required in loop lines.
- Preparation of IPC (Interim payment certificate) for supplied items as well as installation work.
- Construction of various type of Height gauge.
- Responsible for day-to-day communication with site in-charge.
- first, second, third machine packing like unimate, duomate packing work.
