PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Worked on SUMMIT Upgrade project from V6.2.15.7 to V6.2.15.10 for one of the world’s leading financial organizations. As the name signifies the organization is migrating the product from V6.2.15.7 to V6.2.15.10 which includes new Linux env setup, DB upgrade, Environment management, Recompilation of whole code base with enhanced APIs in new environment and bug fixing, Interface testing and migration, Functionality testing, Internal customization testing, STP set up etc.

Worked on Summit application migration from RHEL7 to RHEL8 which includes new Linux env setup, Recompilation, Issue fixing, Interface testing and migration, Functionality testing, Internal customization testing, STP set up etc.

Also, I’m involved in SUMMIT L2 Support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I’m working as a Tech lead in this project. The activities are mentioned below.

• Patch deployment
• Programs migration from RHEL8 to RHEL7 platform
• Regression testing of all the processes
• Resolve compilation issues because of the compiler migration
• L2 support and development activities
• Issue analysis and co-ordination with different teams

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Basically, this project is to demise the legacy Global Calypso system used for the rates business in Latin America and move the trades to SUMMIT platform in summit HUB. So, there are mainly two parts involved for the migration – 1) Trade Migration. 2) Interface Migration.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I was working as a Developer which includes the below activities.

• Update the progress of the work in daily stand-up meeting.
• Requirement analysis by discussing with Business Analyst.
• Doing required enhancements to the existing programs.
• Unit test cases preparation and execution.
• Worked on application development using Summit APIs.
• Was involved in designing of interfaces.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

It is a kind project which is already implemented or in a progressive state to be implemented in almost all investment banks. Basically, OIS came into picture after the 2008 crisis, to price the trades with a risk-free curve i.e. OIS curve. Before this the investment banks were using LIBOR curves to price the trades and because of which there were around 10 basis points difference between OIS curve pricing and LIBOR curve pricing which was only 1 or 2 basis points difference between the two curves before the 2008 crisis.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I was working in SUMMIT RTB and Integration team both for the first one year at client location in the current organization.

After that, I was working on OIS (Overnight Indexing SWAP) Project and Integration team both. I was working on the below activities.

• Regular interaction with on-site counterparts.
• Updating the progress of the work in daily stand-up meeting.
• Gathered requirements by discussing with on-site coordinator and users.
• Was doing required enhancements to the existing programs.
• Was fixing the bug in the existing applications, if there is any.
• Preparing and executing unit test cases.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Misys SUMMIT provides the treasury and capital markets solution. Our customer IFC is a member of World Bank Group (WBG), which is using SUMMIT for its treasury department. The users are Corporate Finance and Treasury (CFT), Chief/Corporate Finance operations (CFO), Client Risk Management (CRM), CCB Financial Reporting (CCBFR), Corporate Portfolio Management (CPM).

SUMMIT is used to manage daily loading of market data, derivative products, loan data, future/options data, securities, accounting related data etc. SUMMIT is linked with many different applications in IFC such as ODS, SAP, ETL, Sybase Application (CTMS), CVAR, ACBS etc. It is one of the critical applications in IFC Back Office. IFC has a separately managed database than SUMMIT database to manage the currently updated data. It has distributed database management system so that the data modification in one database will not affect the data modification in another database.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I was working as a Developer and support resource for L1/L2 support.

• Regular interaction with on-site counterpart.
• Gathered requirements by discussing with on-site coordinator and users.
• Was doing required enhancements and bug fixing to the existing programs.
• Developed and generated new reports for the users using UNIX shell scripting and sq query.
• Analyzing user queries and replying to them.
• Preparing unit test cases and executing them.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Bear Stearns & Co is a leading financial services company, specialized in delivering Prime Broker and Broker Dealer services to its clients.

Bear Stearns Foreign Exchange include different module such as Prime Broker, Fill Server, Pricing Engine, FXTrader, Derivatech etc. We are providing user level support as well as system level support. We have prepared a word document called Issues and Resolutions with the details of the problems, resolutions, severity and the contact numbers of the developers for that particular issue. We developed some tools in our down time to automate the issues, which were coming regularly.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I was working as a Developer and support resource for L1/L2 support.

• Developed a process-monitoring tool to monitor all the process whether these are running or not.
• Developed an Openlog file to see the errors in case of process failure.
• Developed three tools using Perl CGI to help the users – 1) Summary Data Errors Correction web page. 2) File Copy tool. 3) Developed Traiana Harmony setup tool.
• Developed some other tools to automate the issues, which were coming regularly.
• Developed an EOD watcher tool to check if the end of day jobs is running as expected.
