Roles and Responsibilities:

Physical and Chemical lab:

• Conducting testing for all the inward footwear components to ensure they meet the quality requirements and releasing them in SAP for production purposes. i.e., Footwear fabrics, threads, and other ornaments.
• Inspecting the physical properties testing and reports of the final products. i.e., Hardness, Tensile and elongation, flex properties, abrasion, compression set, etc.
• Conducting testing for all the inward Raw Materials to ensure they meet the quality requirements and releasing them in SAP for production purposes. i.e., Specific gravity, Ash content, Melting point, moisture content, Purity, gas evaluation, etc.
• Maintaining the calibration register for all the lab equipment to calibrate on time.
• Preparing the records and documents of all the lab activities for Internal and External Audits at regular intervals.
• Allocate the shift-wise manpower and assign the lab activities accordingly.

Equipments handled:

Universal Testing Machine, Mooney viscometer, Moving die Rheometer, Abrasion Tester, Melting point tester, Ross Flex tester, Bennewart Flex tester, belt flex tester, etc.

Production Area:

• Inspecting the Mixing Department to ensure the weighments of the given formulations and also to check that the process parameters are maintained as per the given specifications in regular intervals.
• Inspecting the Curing Department, which includes Compression Molding, Injection Molding, and Hot-Cold Process, to ensure the in-process parameters are maintained as per the given specifications in regular intervals.
• Involving in Kaizen Activities to reduce the damages, as well as to reduce the number of activities, to achieve the production more.
• Maintaining Process Deviation Intimation Register to troubleshoot the technical problems.
• Inspecting the packing area to check the finished goods on an hourly basis to avoid and reduce customer complaints.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experienced the rubber compounding process and Injection & Compression molding processes.
• Involved in compound planning for producing on a regular basis.
• Identified opportunities for process improvements and damage reduction through analysis of existing workflows.
• Observed and monitored utilization of equipment.
