Fixture Design for Roof Panel
Role & Contribution
Role: Design Engineer.
Contribution:
Ø Conducting a thorough study of the input received from the customer.
Ø Preparing detailed study documents based on project specifications derived from customer input data.
Ø Performing layout, cycle time, process description, and APO/SPO analysis.
Ø Designing spot welding fixtures.
Ø Developing various fixture concepts according to established design guidelines.
Ø Creating conceptual designs for geo fixtures, re-spot fixtures, material handling grippers and their docking stations, curing stations, and load tables.
Ø Documenting the project with design proofs, such as clamp validation and robot payload calculations.
Ø Calculating gripper payloads using robot load software.
Ø Generating manufacturing drawings in compliance with customer standards.
Ø Creating the manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM).
Ø Producing deliverables, including IGES, PDF, and DWG files.
