At Alstom my responsibilities include but not limited to handling delivery of 3 projects ( FEP, C30 & M7) all being exports.

Contributing partially to supply chain set up, quality plan validation, industrialization activities. Handling the recruitment, training, qualification & deployment of operators as per project requirement. Managing industrial process, setting manufacturing process flow and hand-over from PME to manufacturing & ensuring consistent delivery of fully compliant product to the correct quality requirements at a rate that satisfies the demands of the production schedule.

Also supported the teams to implement APSYS standards on shopfloor & managed various audits internal & external (IRIS/ISO etc).

Based on performance I was promoted to Assistant Manager with a broader role along with handling production now led various cost saving development projects on shop-floor along with in-sourcing with savings of ₹1.8Cr from insourcing, ₹15.9Lacs by gas flow control and recent being Front Yoke development with projected savings of ~₹60Lacs for fy'23 & fy'24.

Reduced nva on shop floor by re-locating machinery leading to reduced material movement. Ensured compliance to various internal and external audits through proper documentation and performing RCA for timely closures of critical issues. Coordinating with supporting functions for timely closure of open issues with focus on 'on time delivery'. Supporting the shop manager and driving best practices on shop-floor.

Monitored SAP bookings of all FG in SAP to ensure no delay in order delivery.

Was given the opportunity to handle production operations of recently set up product lines of JCB's various machinery (Backho Loader, Telehandler, Mini-ex Excavator) with complete responsibility of ensuring on time delivery, right first time quality & zero accident on shop-floor.

During this tenure I managed productivity improvement & ramp up on various product lines namely- Side Member (25%), Loader Tower (20%), P790 Dipper (15%) respectively by various process improvements along with team member training & effective deployment.

Post lock down led the cost saving activity from production team as a part of in-sourcing project (saving: ₹1.49Cr-2020). Was also actively involved in recruitment of team members.

My first professional assignment after graduation, here I went through a rigrous on job training rotation program in different operations department viz production-engineering-supply chain-quality-maintenance-stores that gave me a good understading of how manufacturing operations work.

Finally I was assigned the role of production engineer where I ensured the product being developed through various manufacturing process is within the required quality standards as per customer specifications & requirements.

Monitored various welding, machining, PWHT, DT & NDT testing operations and handled documentation for same. Also worked with quality & purchase teams for correct material delivery at right time.
