Roles And Responsibilities

Verizon (Client), RTE - VBG Release Management team 

  • Managed the health of ER Releases by tracking the Release milestones working closely with scrum teams and collaborating with Scrum masters.
  • Tracked the status of EPIC’s & User stories on daily basis committed by Scrum teams.
  • Identifying the impediments & Blockers by reaching out to teams proactively and escalate the Issues where ever needed, closely working with Testers and Developers.
  • Stakeholder management - Connecting with multiple stakeholders Onshore & Off shore and helping in resolving the impediments and Blockers for the ER releases.
  • Scheduled and facilitated War rooms for Blockers & Critical defects and ensured they are resolved by identifying and bringing the right POC over to the call.
  • Gathered and prepared release management trackers with EPIC’s and User stories for upcoming sprint by reaching out to Scrum Masters and teams post the current release is done.
  • Did daily refresh updating the current status of stories and related defects - Blockers & Criticals in the release Management Tracker and triaging the defects on daily basis with concern POC’s aiming to close the defects within SLA due date.
  • Worked closely with E2E testing team, supporting them in completing the test cases for the release by coordinating and arranging the weekend support where ever needed.
  • Prepared daily status reports of Release & Weekly deck’s and shared with Senior Leadership and business for bird view of release.
  • Facilitated Impacted Assessment requests (IAR’s) came from SDA’s in coordinating and collecting the estimates from Impacted application SME’s and prepared the consolidated cost estimate to customer’s with in SLA due date.
