• Project: Cash Margin is a tool used by the Sales team to make important decisions in trading and supply chain management. Its main job is to calculate the profit margin (crush margin) at a plant. It looks at Soybean seed, Meal, and Oil prices, adjusting them to match export and domestic standards. It considers various factors, like currency exchange rates (Forex), international prices (CBOT), transport costs (Freight), handling costs (Fobbing), yield, and price differences in export vs. domestic markets. Previously, this tool was managed using Excel, CDP, and Power BI, but now it has been upgraded to a web application for better efficiency and accessibility. Essentially, it helps determine how profitable a plant's operations are by bringing all costs and prices into a unified calculation.
• Technical Environment: Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, PostgreSQL, Captain, KONG Policy, Vela, and Kubernetes.

Implementing microservices using Spring Boot.

• Project: DC Trading System. Developed a web-based trading tool for the DVS team to support internal operations. The system includes multiple applications for pricing, reconciliation, security, reporting, and trade management. Built a microservices architecture with APIs for security, reporting, pricing, fund management, reconciliation, and client services. Enhanced automation, data accuracy, and security in trading operations. Improved internal workflows by replacing legacy systems with a scalable web application.

• Project 2: Client History Interview (CHI) Application
• This application is used to record clients' answers about health conditions and past history of any health issues. It is one of the underwriting processes. Based on the answers received, underwriters used to make decisions during the issuance of a policy.
• Technical Environment: Core Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Restful, Angular, MySQL, WebSphere, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Postman.
• Project 3: EFiles Applications
• The EFiles Application is a group of five applications, which include Worklist, EReferrals, Retriever, Assigner, and CDV. These applications are used to create the work, assign the work, retrieve the policy details, add the documents for the policy, etc.
• Technical Environment: Core Java, Spring MVC, SOAP web service, WebSphere, JIRA, JSP, GitHub, Jenkins, Mainframes.
• Responsibilities:

Estimate the effort for the requirements.

Designing, coding, and testing the modifications/enhancements.
