With over 26 years of experience in wireless communication system and software development, including 4 years as an entrepreneur in the cellular wireless domain, I offer extensive expertise to any team. Throughout my career, I have successfully established and led engineering teams across multiple locations, overseeing the complete product life cycle from idea generation to commercialization. My hands-on experience in wireless signal processing, SoC/Chip bring up, and system integration for both RAN and UE development has allowed me to excel in this field. I am a proficient coder in C/C++, MATLAB/Python, and possess a deep understanding of 3GPP and ORAN specifications for PHY and MAC layers. Additionally, I have worked extensively with embedded development tools, debuggers, and various testing equipment. My knowledge extends to containerized real-time applications running on physical or cloud servers, as well as deep learning algorithms applied to signal processing and communications.   • Kineto Wireless is a pioneer in the UMA/GAN protocols definition, their adaption to 3GPP standards and corresponding product development
  • I was involved in complete development from the prototype to commercially available UMA handsets
  • Led the complete effort of designing /architecting, development UMA-RR and UMA-RLC protocols as per 3GPP standard 43.318 and 44.318.
  • Effort includes complete design of state machine, defining interfaces with non access stratus (NAS) layer and peer access stratus (AS) layers, complete coding in SDL and C language and corresponding unit testing of protocol in SDL simulated environment.
  • Led the technical design on system architecture with our Chipset partners (Qualcomm, NXP, TI and Infineon) to integrate UMA protocols within their protocol stack.
  • This includes understanding of their protocol stack and the interaction with different layers for all Inter-Rat procedures in Idle and Dedicated (Handovers) mode for CS & PS services.
