Accomplishments

I began as a Network engineer way back in 1990 in Wipro. Was the SME for Novell Network in the industry and deployed very large WAN deployments for Corporate Customers in India. I later gained skills on Mini Computers and Unix. Was a specialist on Linux deployments. I then moved into management role in Wipro and also led Six Sigma projects in Wipro Services. Was awarded a Green Belt in Six Sigma methodology after successfully completing four projects. I later joined EMC and built Customer support organization in EMC, back in 2004. Since then built the support function and helped Sales build the EMC brand in India with Services as a key differentiator. Currently leading the PS function in Dell Technologies, comprising Implementation, Residency and Consulting business.

I joined EMC India in 2004 and was given the responsibility of setting up a full fledged Customer Support Division for India. EMC was dependent on Wipro and HP to provide support solutions to Customer in India till 2004. I hired support engineers, began spares logistics centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore among other important Tier II cities. I was involved in the business development plans to grow the business in India and directly worked under the Country leader. Services was positioned as the key differentiator for EMC and was rated either as #1 or #2 DC service provided by DataQuest in their annual surveys
Post merger between Dell and EMC, in 2019, I moved to the Delivery services role and led India Deploy along with Converged Infrastructure and Hyper Converged Infrastructure deployment for APJ. This was a P&L role and gave me experience dealing with teams in different countries in APJ.
In Feb 2020, I was given the responsibility of leading combined India Delivery services, which included Dell Servers, EMC Storage, Consulting and Residency services.
