Worked actively with the data enabling unit of one of the largest telecom operators in the world. Handled multiple projects with the unit, in the reverse order below:

Project - Cloud migration of marketing data:

• Currently working a ~$1 million revenue account, helping clients design and develop efficient workflows on basis of current Azure ETL architecture - moving marketing data from disparate sources into a common Azure Data Warehouse, using data lake as intermediate layer
• Implemented metadata driven parameterized pipelines in Azure, along with code modules running on Azure Databricks to manipulate data to serve business requirements
• Working with a team of 10 developers and analysts that analyze requirements from eventual business consumers and data vendors, to develop efficient data migration solutions to data warehouse

Key Achievements:

• Awarded with "Spot Award" twice for developing and deploying time-critical solutions to facilitate data migration from APIs to Azure, and shaping data engineering capabilities at team and account level
• Responsible in enabling data from 6 data sources into a single environment, while following best practices and business logics and decisions, and ensuring high quality of data, by validating same against sources of truth

Project - Report Development and Hosting

• Part of three member crack team which designed and developed Power BI reports to be used by customer care teams to track performance of customer care agents across various call centers.
• Wrote scripts to load data in from servers into Power BI and hosted developed reports into Power BI Service
• Validated accuracy of metrics brought into Power BI reports against legacy report developed by a third-party organization, which were to be retired

Key Achievements:

• Developed, validated and hosted 20 reports within six month period, whilst learning Power BI on-the-go
• Co-developed code modules to perform data validations, saving close to 5 hours of time
