Key Projects Delivered:

  • AXA Integration (Project 123): After the merger of AXA and XL Catlin in early 2018, few AXA entities were merged into the Legacy XL architecture as per the new Target Operating Model (TOM). This activity was a challenging project considering the incomparable systems used across entities, number of stakeholders involved and the volume of business that had to be reconciled at different stages.
  • Enterprise Portfolio Management: Conceptualized and developed a prescriptive analytics tool/scorecard for senior management, utilizing in-depth data modeling to evaluate the performance of insurance products through horizontal and vertical comparisons. This enabled informed decision-making regarding strategies to shrink, grow, or maintain the business.
  • Self-initiated - Expense Review: With the increasing pressure to streamline processes to reduce costs, there was a critical need to formulate a design that could produce a model depicting the current scenario of operations, highlight the pain areas and propose a structure that could lead to maximum savings with least efforts. After researching the industry best practices and studying numerous parameters, I worked on the intellectually intense process to come up with an elaborate plan of action (POA) relevant for an extensive expense analysis.

  • Multiple PL & BS Reporting Solutions:
    Served as an internal consultant, solving business problems through analytical insights, data visualization, and interactive solutions. Leveraged finance expertise, IT tools, and creative thinking to develop key dashboards including Financial, Planning, and Gross P&L, with rigorous quality checks and proper change management.
  • Actuarial Reporting Solution: After the merger of XL and Catlin in 2015, the multiple Lloyds reporting requirements earlier met by Catlin had continue seamlessly after system integration. Due to the unsuccessful efforts of the original team in the US, the process was moved to India. Being the key resource in transitioning, reengineering, managing the process requirements, I was recognized for the farsightedness, collaboration, proactiveness and problem-solving mindset, within few months.
