  • Worked in a bearing company 'TIMKEN' for more than 2.5 years as an Application Engineer supporting for the Wind segment in India, Europe and China region with the major customers of ZF wind power, Siemens Gamesa, GE Winergy, Nanjing High Speed, DELIJIA.
  • Designed wind gearboxes and main shafts, conducting thorough reviews of duty cycles and application conditions, including operating temperatures, lubrication systems, and filtration types.
  • Performed bearing selection and application analysis, ensuring bearings met specified application conditions for optimal performance and longevity.
  • Handled various gearbox types, including 3-point and 4-point support systems, with in-depth analysis of critical positions such as: Main Shaft, Planet Carrier (PC), Planetary (PL) Gears, High-Speed Intermediate Shaft (HSIS), High-Speed Shaft (HSS) of upto 20MW gearboxes.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to optimize design and performance, enhancing overall efficiency and reliability of wind turbine systems.
  • Support to the Heavy Industries segment and other power transmission products in India and Global region with the major customers of JSW, BDI, L&T, TUBE INVESTMENTS, FLSMIDTH, TETRAPAK, JINDAL SAW LTD, EMERSON AUTOMATION, CENTURY PAPER LTD.
  • Conducted detailed analysis with a responsible for providing extensive bearing application analysis, selection studies, mounting reviews, one to one interchanges against competitor bearings and damage analysis studies etc. for bearings and other power transmission products like gearbox, couplings, housed units, grease etc.
  • Provided support to Dr,Timken addressing customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conducted bearing interchanges to provide customers with optimal alternatives to competitor products, ensuring compatibility and performance in heavy industrial applications.
  • Developed detailed interchange reports comparing technical specifications, load ratings, and material properties to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborated with engineering teams to assess and validate alternative bearing solutions for various applications in the cement and metals segments.
  • Assisted in training sales personnel on bearing interchange processes and benefits, enhancing overall product knowledge and customer support.
  • Supported compliance efforts for REACh and RoHS regulations, ensuring that products met environmental and safety standards.
