The Client Connectivity Architecture (CCA) project addresses key business issues with regard to the support of electronically enabled equity trading between BOA Merrill Lynch and its clients. Clients use the FIX protocol for sending and receiving various messages. The project involves the maintenance of existing CCA architecture, quality assurance for every new release, production support, and client testing for every new client to be added in CCA.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive monitoring of the health of applications includes monitoring, analyzing, and resolving moderately complex to complex production issues.
• To troubleshoot and provide solutions for the production issues that were discovered through monitoring, escalations, emails, chat forums, or calls, also involving other technical groups and the client.
• Automation of regular activities carried out in production.
• To develop tools in shell scripting for effective monitoring.
• Performance tuning of jobs, customization, and enhancement of code.
• Interacting with other modules and troubleshooting the problems involved in the customization of the application.
• Tracking and mitigating risks.
• Client coordination for the project, including status meetings.
• Team meetings.
• Training for the modules, handling seven members in the team as part of the India side.
• Release management during the end-of-day phase provides end-to-end support for a better and smoother SOD process the next day for supporting applications.

Working with the SBI Trade Finance department, writing complex SQL queries and scripts as per client requirements. Linux server administration and production support. Developing complex database objects, like stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, using SQL and PL/SQL. To understand the requirements and create DB objects, such as tables, indexes, and procedures, required for data extraction. Responsible for providing correct analysis and quick solutions in cases of high-priority issues. To plan, manage, and execute every month's build and deployment. Involved in debugging and resolution of issues faced at the end-user level by providing proper guidance through the trade finance systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring SBI core applications 24/7 and ensuring smooth operations.
• Planning and executing the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) for the operations of SBI.
• Automation of regular activities (data collection, report generation) through the development of Unix shell scripts and Perl scripts.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing issues occurring in daily production through analysis on technical and functional levels.
• Achieved efficiency and reduced redundancy by automating repeatable tasks.
• Updating the documents of the Known Error Database (KDB).
• Requirement analysis for the upgrade process (identify/validate needs and benefits at the enterprise level, etc.).
