• Microbial Fuel Cell Construction and Testing the effect of Mediators, Collected waste water from several sites containing organic waste to create algae-rich ecosystem which helps in breaking down the waste to generate electricity., Constructed Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) measured and tried to maintain current which could serve as alternative to non-renewable sources of electricity, MFC produced current in the range 5-60uA., Studied the effects and properties of different metals as mediators in MFC using iron, cobalt, Sulphur to check for higher conductivity in the Microbial Fuel cells., Metal mediators tested for a +/-60% change in the current output of the MFC
• Asset Allocation, Executed asset allocation of 8 scrips using 5 allocation methods (Minimum Variance, Inverse Volatility, etc.), Performed using the past 5 years weekly data, back tested using the next 3 months data and determined essential ratios like Sharpe's ratio, Treynor ratio, Variance analysis and Risk Contribution, From the back tested results Minimum variance was the best performer because the back tested period was bearish.
