Project I : Tax Application [Sep 2021 - Apr 2022]

RTAX is a tax reporting system which produces, prints and filing tax slips for various custody, benefit payment and treasury system

• Developed and maintained COBOL programs, JCL and associated components to support
• Worked on minor development activities
• Worked on Unit testing and Unit Test Result (UTR) Documentations
• Hands-on experience in File-Manager, Endevor

Project II : COBOL Migration [May 2022 - Apr 2023]

There are 11 Applications mainly TRUST and RTAX, which needs to be migrated from Version-4 to Version-6. Around 3000+ programs are compiled, tested and deployed in short span of time.

• Worked on Compilation and packaging of components
• Supported QA and Unit testing
• Played a major role in defect identification, analysis and resolving the defect

Project III : Custody Application [May 2023 - Till date]

TRUST is one of the domestic custody application for RBC Investor Services. The major function of TRUST is to serve as the book of records for clients assets

• Develop Design and Unit test cases and capturing unit test results
• Involved in requirements gathering, coding new modules or changes to existing one
• Worked closely with business analyst and users to understand application functionality and resolved issues/defects.
• Performed Adhoc request like submitting special run, setting up job dependency, JCL Override, Endevor package(Bind/Reset/Delete). Experienced in scheduling on-request batch jobs.
• Implemented more Change Request as part of business requirement
• Well-Versed in Operating Manual System(OMS), Job Scheduling, Zeke, SDSF
