- Business Overview: The application is belong to Retail Domain. In this we have certain departments like skills payroll employment details and absences. In this we create the test data in HCM and the same data get reflected in a window based application DEX (My Tesco). We have different department. Here we have API,XAPI and the validating same in DEX. We also automate the API using Karate framework. Also the application is automated using cats framework
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all Agile meeting like Sprint planning, Sprint review, Retrospective, Story Grooming and Daily Scrum.
- Performing requirement feasibility analysis and identified test scenarios/test objectives.
- Prepare test data in HCM tool
- Good knowledge of HCM tool
- Responsible for providing the Test estimation of the planned user stories.
- Responsible in preparing Test cases design along with the traceability matrix.
- Responsible for testing REST API request using POSTMAN tool and validated response in XML and JSON formatted data.
- Capture different HTTP status code like 200,201,400,500,504
- Automate the API using karate framework where we use cucumber and Gherkin language to create scripts

In this we have Credit pull DMS and Credco loans. Here we create loan application of mortgage with lien positions1 and lien position 2. We stage the loan to different stages like underwriter, processor, funder, closer. Few of the web services are created for the same.

The client is integrating mainframe with the webbased interface where they will give account details and the whole details of that particular individual flow from mainframe to the web. The web application is just for the view purpose. Mostly the activity will be done on mainframe. We develop API for these and tested the API using SOAPUI where we used Create, Post, Delete (soft deletion), GET.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Involved in Requirement gathering and learn HOGAN mainframe.
- Involved in daily scrum meetings and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
- Elaborating user stories and preparing test scenarios and test cases.
- Executing the test case using SOAPUI and logging defects in quality center.

- Peer review of test cases during releases using Test Case review checklist.
