Playing Cricket, Yes, I'm very good at cricket. Like many middle-class boys, I grew up with a bat in one hand and dreams in the other. School was more than just classes-it was a place where friendships were built over shared water bottles and post-school cricket matches. We played anywhere we could: streets, grounds, even between parked cars. Time was never enough, but we squeezed every second we had to play the sport we loved. Things got more serious during my Diploma years. That's when I started playing cricket professionally for my college. In my final year, during the sports week, I had the honor of leading my team as captain. I batted at number five and scored a solid 65 runs in the finals, setting up a strong total for the other team to chase. Sadly, we lost that final match, but the fight and spirit we showed earned us the runners-up trophy-and a certificate that still brings back proud memories. Fast forward to recently, I got another chance to shine during the sports events held by Scorpion. It was a cricket tournament organized for Pan India employees, but matches were held only in Mumbai. I played for the Head Office team, and this time I was the opener. Our team played five matches-and we won all five back-to-back. It wasn't just about skills, it was about teamwork, passion, and belief. By the end of the tournament, I was declared Man of the Series-having scored a total of 650 runs in just 5 matches. That moment, holding the trophy and certificate in hand, was special. It reminded me of the boy who once played cricket after school with friends and showed me how far that love for the game had taken me.
