Truist Financial Corp- BB&T and SunTrust Merger

Functional Area: As part of one of the largest bank merger deals in more than a decade, all the existing account information, Customer demographic details, Existing balance, Loans, auto-debits etc. in SunTrust were migrated to BB&T.

• Analyze requirement for assigned Tasks, and prepare Test plan and scripts.

• Executing batch JCLs to generate various datasets/ reports (GDGs) and validate them against the DB2 and program logic using File Manager.

• Ensure the files are in expected layout and ftp’d to correct destination server.

• Reporting bugs found during execution, working with concerned developers to ensure they are fixed and retested thoroughly.

• Perform results walkthrough with business at the end of the sprint.

• Involved in Peer review of Test cases and authoring documents.

CVS Aetna- Billing

Functional Area: Member Billing- calculating the monthly premium to be paid by the customer and generate the invoice based on criteria such as benefits and plan chosen, family size, Customer’s age and Tobacco status.

• Preparing Test plan documents based on story retirements. • Create test data in Mainframe online enrollment applications- CICS. • Executing series of batch jobs to generate the final invoice. • Functional & Regression testing of generated Invoices/ Reports to ensure correctness. • Interact with Developers and On-shore counterparts for clarifications, issue resolutions. • Handle data requests for down-stream applications.
