Project Name: SmartConnect

The legacy project is in MuleSoft framework whose license is about to expire. SmartConnect is an Integration Platform which takes the input files from Payroll ERPs, process the data, converts the data to required format and sends the same to downstream applications for generating payslips, garnishments.

Responsibilities:

• Developed few components from scratch using Spring Boot, Restful Webservices, Apache Kafka, Redis Cache, Mongo DB, transactional management and log4j for logging in Micro Service Architecture.
• Championed adoption of Agile methodologies within team, resulting in increased productivity and more effective project management.
• Improved code quality by utilizing tools like FindBugs, PMD, CheckStyle and Sonar.
• After completion of development, performed shadow testing to fill gaps between legacy and new architecture functionality.
• As part of Disaster Recovery activity, migrated 80+ components to DR servers and tested same in environment.
• Migrated clients to new architecture and provided support for having smooth business continuity.

Project Name: Walmart - Digital Messaging and Digital Pharmacy

Migration project in which Java APIs coded in Spring boot and Restful Webservices pointed to DB2 is being connected to Azure Cloud SQL as well.

Responsibilities:

• Established effective communication channels between client and technical team members, promoting collaboration across departments to achieve shared goals more efficiently.
• Developed APIs to meet client requirements using Spring boot, Restful Webservices, Jersey framework.
• Undergone Azure Cloud Services training for project and professional improvement.

Project Name: Walmart - Optical Transformation

Migration project, where .NET code and Informix database are migrated to java spring boot using restful webservices and azure cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Developed and tested java APIs using spring boot, microservices, restful webservices, Azure Cosmos, postman, swagger, Dynatrace and sonar reports.
• Reduced technical debt by refactoring legacy code and implementing modern development methodologies.
• Improved software quality by conducting thorough code reviews and implementing best practices.
• Designed and delivered KT sessions to diverse level teammates.

Project Name: Norfolk Southern (Yard Management)

Logistic project where the yard in the terminal is managed with the containers brought and carried by the trains. Maintaining the yard is done using the application we developed.

Responsibilities:

• Worked as a designer under the guidance of Technical Architect.
• Contributed valuable insights during product planning sessions, aligning technical strategy with business objectives.
• Contributed ideas and suggestions in team meetings and delivered updates on deadlines, designs, and enhancements.
• Provided KTs and mentored junior developers improving team productivity and fostering professional growth.
• Involved in all the phases of SDLC – Use case planning, designing, reviewing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining.

Project Name: APLL – LSS (Logistics Super Suit)

It is a logistic project where the process from order booking to delivering the same to the clients is handled. Our team has handled booking module.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in fixing functionality defects(enhancements) raised in booking module.
• Contributed towards continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining internal processes and enhancing overall service delivery quality.

Awards:

• Received Insta Award for performing well within team and guiding teammates proactively whenever needed.

Project Name: WALMART – LATAM

Development and Support project. Worked in a team were we provided support to the Walmart stores present in Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Worked in 24/7 shift for supporting 15 Java based applications by resolving defects raised by client through which business continuity didn’t get impacted.
• Query tuned large SQL query used in project for automating it along with manager.
• Resolved 40+ defects in a day which was considered one of the best effort in the team.
• Handled critical production incidents swiftly minimizing business impact; contributed to post-mortem analysis and implemented preventive measures for future occurrences.
• Reduced system downtimes with proactive monitoring, prompt identification of issues, and swift resolution of problems.

• Got trained in Java J2EE technology and RDBMS.
• Developed E-Commerce Cart application.
