• Led the Offshore Team who provides IT infrastructure management services for various Hosted and Non-hosted Clients. The service involves maintaining the Client’s infrastructure, performs scheduled activities, and addresses their day-to-day requirements and issues. My role involves working on enhancement and maintenance projects, handling escalations from Service Delivery Managers, delegating the tasks to team-members and follow-up, working with the team on technical issues.

Was part of Offshore Team which provides Infrastructure and Application support for a client name TravelClick based out in Chicago, USA.

Major projects:

• Centralized management solution using FUNC (Fedora Unified Network Controller)
• Centralized Linux patch management solution using an Opensource tool known as Spacewalk.
• Automated System provisioning using an Opensource tool called Cobbler and Kickstart.
• Automated entire RMAN backup and ETL process using scripts developed using Perl and FUNC.
• Centralized Log administration setup (both application and system logs).

Worked for the client Telcordia Technologies, US, on the role of PoC (Point of Contact) for the offshore team consists of 12 members which provide support for the production environment which involves the following:

• Performance monitoring and tuning, trouble-shooting incidents, forecasting and preventing problems.
• Preparing weekly/SLA reports, shift roaster, developed and maintained centralized repository for data sharing.
• Preparing Quality review documents for analyzing and forecasting tickets flow, documents for calculating actual response and resolution time, doing CAR and DAR analysis and maintaining Metrics for audit purpose.

• Provided remote support for Solaris and Linux servers located in various Design and Research centers.
• Managing and monitoring Sitescope monitors for Servers, WAN link and Applications.
• Supporting Applications and maintaining user-accounts in Sendmail, NIS and FTP servers
