Handling Pan india Banca Portfolio, Audit & System Developments

• Evaluating decisions to develop business opportunities for organizational growth & keeping in view to market competition for profitability for the portfolio.
• Driving underwriting strategy formulation and setting up processes for the function.
• To handle the deviation (rates & operational ) request flow through individual IMD's, Fleets. (Working with 3 team members)
• Formulation of Motor Underwriting guidelines & circulars on timely basis and ensuring the execution of same.
• Conducting motor uw specific audits to check the hygiene aspect of product pricing,features,risk mapping & scoring,process audits & fraud controls.
• IT process automation,control,management,development w.rt motor underwriting.

• To Calculate & analyze product,channel,location wise profitability report & publish to top management.
• Coordinating with cross vertical functions ( Sales,Ops,Claims) to understand their requirements so as to deliver effective underwriting decisions.
• Ensuring timely resolution of queries and approvals to achieve maximum TAT bound interactions.( Deviation approvals)
• Portfolio repricing,Renewal Strategy,Location based pricing.
• Coordinating with technology team for maintaining the system & new requirements.
• Regular Audit of underwriting related processes .

• Handling retail broking & aggregator channel Pan india level.
• Monitoring portfolio on regular basis to identify & control any deviation from budget plans for both Top line & Bottom line.
• Regular interval visit & meeting with intermediaries at Pan india level for fulfill requirement to maintain a healthy portfolio.
• Responsible for region specific deviation request.( Pan India).
• Handling escalations related to Pre-inspections,Referral TAT's & operational Gaps.
• Analyzing & Managing Fleet business proposals (Pan india)

• Underwriting all motor proposals with proper risk analysis.
• Approving the Refund, Endorsements, Cancellation, and Deviations including the Discounts, Decline Models acceptance & Age Limit.
• Preparing premium quote for clients assessing risk parameters & insurance requirement.
• Resolution of queries and approvals to achieve maximum TAT bound interactions.
• Coordination with operation & claims team smooth query resolutions to customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for all region underwriting & process activities.

• Analyzing & implementing organizational underwriting guidelines.
• Training various stakeholders in implementing organizational guidelines and ensuring effective implementation of the same at ground level.
• Publishing monthly/quarterly analysis & control reports of underwritten cases to achieve desired quality of decisions.
• Publishing monthly audit reports of approvals across stakeholders and suggesting future courses of action.
• Handling complete query related to underwriting deviation in terms of rates , refunds & Endorsements.
