Job Experience

I am proficient in troubleshooting Non-Standalone (NSA) configurations and Ericsson Spectrum Sharing (ESS), effectively addressing both configuration and call-related issues. My expertise extends to analyzing trace data for in-depth problem-solving in 4G, 5G, and IoT environments. Utilizing advanced tools, I conduct deep inspections with L2/L3 trace decode, and control-plane/user-plane (CP-UP) correlation to identify and resolve network impairments.

My skills encompass both Zero Touch and manual integration of Baseband models including 6630, 6640, 5216, 6620, 6648, and 6641. I am adept at analyzing script errors and configuring/troubleshooting Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) and Tilt Mechanical Adjustment (TMA) settings. Additionally, I have led Zero Touch AI integration and Service Instance (SI) generation for Baseband systems, optimizing network operations.

In working with Radio Network Controllers (RNC), I handle integration, configuration, and Layer 2 fault management for models like the 8200 and 3820. My experience includes capacity and optimization pack expansions, such as GPB and SPB card expansions, and participation in SPB type change activities. I am skilled in defining RNC interfaces like Iub, Iu-CS, and Iu-PS, as well as migrating RNCs between different Blade-Clusters, Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs), and Serving GPRS Support Nodes (SGSNs). My capabilities also include performing software upgrades and license installations of RNCs and NodeBs using Service Management and Orchestration (SMO), alongside managing tasks like NodeB creation, deletion, and re-parenting within the Operations Support System (OSS) Network Explorer.

In the realm of Base Station Controllers (BSC), I am responsible for integration, configuration, and Layer 2 fault management. My duties encompass routine health checks, troubleshooting faults, emergency outage handling, and providing customer support for network quality issues. I have successfully rectified faults on Circuit Pack/Advanced Processor Group (CP/APG) models such as 40, 55, and 43L, as well as other APT faults in BSCs. Collaborating with field engineers and offering technical support to Network Operations Center (NOC) engineers are key aspects of my role. I efficiently manage trouble tickets and change requests, ensuring fault resolution within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and address Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and performance-related issues of BSC nodes.

Beyond hands-on experience, I leverage automation tools and scripting languages, particularly Python, to enhance network management processes. This includes automating routine tasks, analyzing large datasets for performance optimization, and developing custom scripts to streamline integration and maintenance procedures. This approach has led to increased efficiency, reduced manual errors, and improved overall network performance.
