Job overview
- I am responsible for managing 4 suppliers in India who are involved in the wood process during development and industrialization.
- Development Process - Develop & follow the retro plan milestones to ensure the developments are on time. Develop and validate various samples with the Supplier and product engineer before bulk production to ensure quality as per requirement.
- Industrialization - To improve the productivity and efficiency of the production line and collect data, analyze, and improve the figures. I collect OWE, CPM & SOT to build the industrial cost breakdown (ICBD) as per model.
- Costing and Purchase - Work on MCBD and ICBD format for better prices and have negotiations with suppliers for better prices for our customers.
- Duplication process - In 2022-23 I successfully duplicated Kashmir willow and English willow range in Ranson to secure the business plan within a short period of time. I successfully duplicated a total of 8 CCs and 15 models.
- Lean management - In Jan 2022 to improve the productivity and efficiency in the bat manufacturing factory I planned lean management and implemented it in 6 weeks. This helps to improve the capacity from 400 to 800 qty/daily.
- Innovation projects - Work on the innovation projects with the supplier and PE like - Gully set.
- Decathlon Production Requirement (DPR) - I worked on the Cricket bat DPR document which ensure the quality and safety of the production line, workers, and products.
- Fundamentally validated for final inspection for any purchase order at supplier site.
