Advanced Materials Division (A Technical Textile Fabric Division)

• Facilitating new product development initiative with key focus on Quality, Cost & Delivery; developing products in conformance to pre-set technical specifications
• New product and process development for coated and laminated textiles for the brand customers like Decathlon, Columbia Sportswear, 3M, HP, Woonpoong etc.
• Coating developments with various technologies like air knife coating, knife on roll coating, impregnated coating and with various chemistries like acrylic coating, water based PU, solvent based PU, acrylic foam coating etc. & hot melt laminations using PU membranes and PTFE membranes.
• Substrate fabric development by various weaving technologies like air-jet, water-jet, rapier, projectile etc., various dyeing technologies like Jet dyeing, Jigger dyeing, thermo-sol dyeing etc.
• Identification, validation and development of new raw material vendors
• Vendor development for processing and dyeing of the synthetic and natural fabric & chemicals as a raw material
• Production planning by coordinating with sourcing & production team and ensuring smooth production on time in full quantity
• Analyzing processes, running tests, monitoring or evaluating materials, designing new structures, suggesting improvements, and writing process manuals
• New project conceptualization, development from raw materials to finish stage and stabilization
• Standardization of all products as per the SAP and ISO norms
• Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the set quality parameters

• Development of fabric by weaving using jacquard and dobby lifting technologies with rapier looms, knitting with warp knit and circular knit machines
