• After inspection, in case of any discrepancy found during third party inspection, review the defects and discuss with Lowe’s QA team and vendor to resolve the issues and discuss on corrective action plans.
• Keep track of feedback / reviews given by end users on Lowe’s website and analyse the problems and discuss with vendors to improve / modification if required.

• Responsible for all hard goods sourcing activity in India.
• Have travelled to headquarters of Lowe’s, OBI, Leroy Merlin & Canadian Tire, to discuss on new projects.
• Also worked on special projects like LED and domestic fans recently.
• Lowe’s Europe Project - Responsible of European sourcing project for Lowe’s. During this process I have travelled to vendor’s facility at Poland, Chez republic and Germany.
• Also responsible for vendor auditing and vendor selection process together with Lowe’ sourcing team for Europe project.

• Responsible for visiting factories time to time to check production and do the technical analyse in random.
• Also visit J&J regional offices at various locations, from time to time to check the reports and timely updating of master and shipment samples by J&J team.
• Work with factories on new techniques to develop and improve the quality of products.
• Work with vendor on mass production techniques by adopting SPM machines at factories.
• Set up product standards and protocol in consultation with buyer and vendor.
• Keep track of inspections held and decide on skip lot inspections based on vendor performance.

• As a product development associate my job is to identify new product, develop new vendors.
• Work with factories to develop prototype for buyer’s approval.
• Work on costings and methods to change material and give various price options.
• Work on packaging options such as artwork, attractive packaging such as display box PDQ, and to optimise packaging etc.
• During this period I worked as Qualit control - Coordinator from May 1999 till Dec 2002 and their after being promoted as Sr. Merchandiser from Jan 2002 till June 2006
