  • Successfully led Azure Data Lake Gen2 project during Nov 2020-April 2021. It took 2500 hours, included 45 resources from 5 development teams and various business users throughout the company for testing. It went live without an incident and on the original schedule. Elicited positive call outs from VP GIS and EVP, Chief Digital Information Officer.
  • Created and implemented standards, processes, and procedures in Azure related to infrastructure setup, platform administration, security, upgrade management, monitoring, capacity planning, failover, and disaster recovery etc.

  • Common Track II Project is about building a Member Repository Data Warehouse (MRDW) as a part of Reporting Data Store (RDS) for EB policyholder feed data. This involves converting existing policyholder data from Websphere Customer Center (WCC) and loading the ongoing data feeds from policyholders to MRDW. RDS is extensively used for operation reports such as Underwriting Census, Life Claim, Policyholder HR Contact reports etc. DataMart for policyholder feed data is also built to support analytical needs.
  • From a position of Software Engineer, rose to the challenge and volunteered to lead DataStage upgrade project, executed several infrastructure components flawlessly and drove it to successful completion.
  • Designed a process to extract historical data from WCC using very complex queries and process them through DataStage tool.
  • Designed and developed DataStage jobs to load RDS for both historical and ongoing data.
