Review and monitor alerts on individual/Entity's accounts and transactions for potential matches to designated sanctions targets and prohibited persons lists.
Responsible to perform full review on the customer by understanding their nature of business and Transaction history of the clients and perform various checks to understand the total level of exposure and Risk factor
To ensure full compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Escalate issues discovered during ongoing review and assessment of AML/OFAC compliance risk that requires escalation to Legal team of compliance for further investigation.
Identify Red flag situations and escalating in line with policy with procedures.
Verification of parties involved in suspicious transactions against various databases like Lexis Nexis, OFAC/HMT/BIS List, Wander and Word-check.
Ensuring appropriate and confidential handling of sensitive information.
Reporting day to day activities like MIS, Queue Allocation and forwarding the same to management ensuring meeting SLA’s.
KYC screening on new clients by documenting and collaborating the information obtained on the client as required by the KYC procedures.
Good knowledge of KYC requirements with ability to research and validate entity data using appropriate internal and external data source as part of periodic review.
Ensuring that all the KYC documents are accurate and proper due diligence has been performed as per global and local KYC requirements.
