• Informing the supplier in advance about the project requirement with the support of JPI (for document submission) and request them to schedule & submit documents as well as status report on time.
• L-3 Schedule & Monthly Progress Report Review.
• Preparing Material Status Report & MatMan Report for client thru JMMS / MMS, SmartPlant Materials etc.
• Arranging Progress Review Meeting (Face to Face / Telecon) with Vendors.
• In case of delay envisaged push the Supplier to mitigate the delay and inform about the same to Project Team, Engineers and as well to the Client.
• Expediting to the expectations of Client / Customer till the material is Delivered at Site and receipt of Final MDR documents.
• Understand the expectations of Lead Office and adhere to their requirement and work culture.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inspection of Plates and Pipes & Incoming Material Inspection of Forgings, Flanges, Fittings etc.

2. Witnessing of Physical Tests such as Tensile, Bend, Impact etc. & Reviewing of Material Test Certificates.

3. Outdoor Inspection of Fabricated Parts such as Shell, Dished-end, Cone, Saddle, Job Internals/Externals etc.

4. Visit at vendor’s workshop for Stage Inspection, In process Inspection, Critical fixtures etc.

5. Outdoor Inspection of Machined Components.

6. Inspection activities of Coal Gasifier (Shell Technology) in M/s Naik’s Brass & Iron Works, Charkop:

Preparation of Check-list in Baan, Inspection of 2D & 3D Bend Pipes, Issue Inspection of Plates & Pipes, Monitoring of Welding process as per parameter sheet, Set-up, Visual & Dim. Inspn of piping components viz. Header/Distributor, Forged Blocks, K-bends, etc. Conducting Hydrostatic Test, Air Pressure Drop Measurement Test and Final Dimension & Documentation.

7. Inspection activities of Heat Exchanger in Bend n Fab, Mahape:

Issue Inspection of Plates & Pipes, Shell L/s, C/s, Nozzle, Dished-end set-up & visual clearance, Hydro, Drying, N2 Filling of Equipment, Final Dimension & Documentation.

8. Witnessing of Heat Treatment Loading / Un-loading of sub-assemblies and formed components.

9. Interacting with Third Party Surveyors / Statutory authorities such as IBR, LRA, EIL, SGS, Jacobs H & G, PDIL, TUV, AI and getting the documents cleared within time.

10. Familiar with BaaN (ERP) activities (Preparing Inspection Checklist, clearing Inspection entry, preparing Material Clearance Record etc.).

11. Final documentation of critical jobs with tight schedule for BECHTEL, DAELIM, KBR, OMIFCO, SEECO.

12. Familiar with ASME / ASTM, AD Merkblätter, TEMA & DIN Standards.
