• As a part of cost reduction project successfully completed the ITV removal with further system optimization for 5L BSVI engine.
• Succeeded in Pre Nox sensor removal by model based approach for Pre Nox sensor. This is achieved by robust engine out model preparation & various correction factor added into SW for different engine & environmental condition.
• Successfully completed the eEGR & eETV component level calibration as a part of localization & cost reduction as well as robustness improvement for OBD2.
• Prepared various SW improvement points based on OBD1 learning & developed for OBD2 from Volvo SW team.
• Responsible for IUMPR meeting in all 5L applications & ISC as well.
• Participated in engine brake development for close loop control calibration & successfully achieved the required targets for endurance braking norms.

• Completed the hardware selection by the screening of FIE, Injectors & Turbochargers to achieve the 240hP power rating from 5L engine along with engine out minimum possible soot particles to meet stringent BSVI norms.
• Various thermal management techniques tested & evolved with very unique solution (Hot EGR) for passive EATS approach which get rid of DPF regeneration & most cost effective as well as fuel efficient.
• Extensive EATS proto testing done with various supplier to fulfil the BSVI norms with passive approach & finalized best trouble free system with high engine out Nox & with Va SCR substrate.
• Participated in various OBD related calibration activities along with Volvo team to understand the complexity of the system requirement & completed the certification activity.
• To meet PN requirement various configuration of DPF is tested & finalized the DCLP technology to have consistent results.
• Tested & finalized the DPF regeneration strategy for park & moving regeneration with benchmarking & keeping aftermarket team in loop to avoid customer issues.
• Well managed the dataset in CRETA at different stages of project by proper review of different function & monitoring the maturity of each functions.
• Took responsibility of engine & vehicle durability dataset signoff & continuous monitoring & issues resolution with proper RCA, to complete all the durability successfully.
• Responsible for delivering best in class "Performance & Fuel Economy" across the 5L applications & completed successfully by duty cycle based optimization for FE improvement.
• Responsible for data analysis & providing the solution for any field related issue within short span of time with closer of 8D analysis report.

• Participated steady state engine performance development of 2.2l meeting EV emission norms.
• I was part of 170hP high power engine hardware development team at AVL for 3 months & participated various hardware screening activities eg. swirl, no of Injector holes, rail pressure, VGT.
• Responsible for chassis dyno emission optimization & certification for BSIV,EIV,EV 2.2l engine.
• Successfully completion of cold start optimization at sea level & altitude.
• Performed vehicle calibration at sea level & altitude.
