Lead the exercise of Output Outcome Monitoring Framework, a multi-stakeholder activity and requires coordination among 67 Ministries and departments and the Department of Expenditure of the Government of India. Expanded cross-functional organizational capacity by collaborating across departments on priorities, functions and common goals.
I ensured quality control of log frame design, indicator design, review, database management and compliance. Maximized performance by monitoring daily activities and mentoring team members.
Currently developing an analytical dashboard to drive better decision-making using OOMF data, to improve data systems for effective monitoring of national and state schemes/programmes. Also have developed OOMF Index methodology and SDG alignment to measure the performance and effectiveness of scheme(s) implementation by various Ministries and Departments.
Additionally drafted a report for the Prime Minister’s Office Committee formed on Social Protection and Service Delivery in India. Developed and prepared policy notes for G20 discussion and M&E policy notes by analyzing Period Labour Force Survey data, highlighting the key gaps in skilling for minority youths and funding patterns of skilling programs. Additionally, worked on conceptualizing an infrastructure sector dashboard to be used for PM sector review meetings using Tableau.

Managed UK-India program and research portfolio ($4 million), working towards developing a sustainable ecosystem using evidence-based research in India. It involved working closely with research partners, and government stakeholders and developing partnerships to support policy-research dialogues with state departments and enhance the use of rigorous evidence-based policymaking. A special COVID-19 research call, responding to the pandemic and critical policy issues 36 proposals submitted; 8 projects commissioned, with total value of £135k. Also, was involved in the program strategy and management for the capacity-building programs for the India country program (Summer & Winter school for District officials and PhD students).
I have organized and convened key multi-stakeholder dialogues; one of these events was with Women Development Corporation, Government of Bihar, on the theme ‘Women Empowerment-Issues, Evidence and Policy Response’ and recently on 'The impact of Covid19 and in India and the pathways to recovery'; and convened other key multi-stakeholder dialogues and policy discussion events with senior bureaucrats. Additionally, edited a chapter for ‘Bihar Economic Survey 2021’, Govt. of Bihar.
Policy engagement involved evidence synthesis and dissemination activities such as conducting secondary research, drafting policy briefs, blogs, summaries, and convening policy discussions. It also involved building new strategic partnerships across government departments and hosting policy events.
The programme has achieved 42% of the cumulative target for policy impact. When disaggregated by Level 4 and Level 3 impact, the programme has achieved 50% and 39% of the cumulative target, respectively
At IGC, I was also a member of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Taskforce working towards institutionalizing EDI considerations for strategic and operational decision-making.

I looked into program strategy and management for a large-scale Ed-tech research study (Randomized Control Trial) in the areas of Maths and Science (STEM) learning. I designed the M&E and learning vertical –KPIs, theory of change, log frame, SOPs, monitoring dashboard, and reporting for a large-scale randomized research-based project to study the impact of Ed-Tech intervention in Haryana across 240 Government Schools, with over 40,000+ students and 800 senior teachers and 700+ District Officials in senior secondary school.
Managed a team of 14 Program Managers. I have implemented large-scale baseline and endline surveys involving 700+ field invigilators (govt. officials) across 240 schools. Also, designed and conducted an audit survey for 350+ Government Schools in Haryana across 8 Districts which also involved team management, data monitoring, and analysis to shortlist 240 schools based on key criteria for the RCT research study.
Designed questionnaires for surveys and interviews and analyzed data using Microsoft PowerBI.
