Elimination of NVA in production and post production activities

• Initially conducted time study on all the processes after value stream mapping
• After removing the NVA from the process the grinding/Men/shift is increased to 4.5Tonne from 1.5Tonne.
• Production rate has been increased to 3.5 Moulds per hour from 2 moulds/hr

Reduction of Core Burn in castings

May 2017– Aug 2018

• Controlled the core making process and reduced the core burn from 90% to 5%

Reduction of Rejection Percentage

Oct 2016 – Nov 2019

• Daily monitoring the defects causing the rejection and finding the root cause analysis
• Rejection has been reduced to 2% from 7.5%
• Minimized the rework Percentage from 70% to 20%
