  • Thetrainline.com is the leading UK rail ticket retailer and rail ticket information provider, offering fast and easy access to timetables, fares, reservations and tickets through its Internet site and contact centre operations in the UK train travel sector.
  • In addition to its own website, www.thetrainline.com, it operates retail websites for a number of Train Operating Companies who sell rail tickets online.
  • The trainline there are around 24 train operating companies who run the trains across the UK and sales the train tickets online and each company has its own online ticket selling portal which is also used to display their own promotions, rail cards and etc.
  • These train operating companies operates the trains based on the IPTIS (Integrated Public Transport Information System) and NRS (National Reservation System) who provides the Centralized Services, Journey Available Details and Journey Reservation Details.
  • Trainline is integrated with PayPal and PCIDSS Compliant.
  • The project is the testing of the different portal’s client has been developing and maintaining for different train lines like Virgin Trains, Cross Country etc.
  • They also offer corporate travel solutions for more than 2000 corporate across UK.
  • Other than the customer reservation portals available to public they maintain a back-office application for call center operations.
  • They also maintain a web service gate way which enables them to communicate with the national railway systems for reservations and enquiries.
