Conducted audit of PCAOB and AICPA clients as per the applicable US GAAP and US GAAS by being a part of the front-end audit team. My role included frequent communications with the client for audit procedures, performing substantive and analytical procedures on key audit areas, reviewing working papers of team.

• Prepared revenue assessment memo to analyze whether the revenue recognition of entities’ is as per ASC 606, tested revenue for its completeness, accuracy and cut off.
• Found a major discrepancy in revenue recognition policy being followed by client by checking adherence to ASC 606
• Assisted a client in consolidation of financial statements of its 8 group entities in different countries ensuring compliance of ASC 830 – Foreign Currency Matters.
• Performed testing of payroll expenses, operating expenses, PPE, debt for various assertions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Detailed testing of various account balances such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll, Convertible Senior Notes, OPEX, Cash and Cash Equivalents, Other Current Assets.
• As a part of testing, performing Substantive Analytical Procedures, preparing and sending third party confirmations for account balances, existence of legal cases against company etc.
• Preparation of various Guided Risk Assessments (GRAs) as a part of Audit Planning.
• Cycle Based Testing (Data Analytics): Undertaking projects for Cycle Based Testing in engagements to obtain understanding of flow of different verticals on year on year basis.
• Analyzing relations between different general ledger accounts (example- revenue, accounts receivables, cash) and highlighting areas of major differences with necessary documentation and tickmarks.
• Preparation of Fluctuation Analysis for Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Equity at every quarter and year end for filing of 10Q and 10K with SEC.
• Documenting, testing operating effectiveness and walking through various internal controls with client relating to Procedure to Pay, Inventory Management, Accounts Receivables and Financial Reporting.
