It is an Aerospace Start-up in pursuit of exploring extra-terrestrial bodies. The company got selected in a space program (Google Lunar X-Prize) in 2014, which is an initiative by Google and Space-X, and won a milestone prize of $1 million.

Project: Rover Surface Operations Suite & Ground software.

Responsibilities:

• Key Software engineer to initiate requirements gathering and high level software design for implementation
• Designed component interaction diagrams, work flows and flow charts that has to be incorporated in the software required for different phases of the mission
• Designed Database Schema for the application
• Designed use cases for interfacing offshore applications with the application being built in-house
• Developed prototype of Surface operations suite using Microsoft .NET suite
• Actively interacted with reputed space agencies pertaining to software procurement for the project

Worked on a Claims processing platform, which supports US healthcare system. It was built to handle claims on behalf of Healthcare/Laboratory after providing diagnosis to the patient. It required the application to handle policies of various insurance companies that the patients are associated with, to automate the process using their demographic, insurance information and invoice provided by the medical facility. The claims are processed using CMS1500 form, which is a HIPAA compliant standard.

• Was one of the key developers in the team in building Claims processing application
• Involved in planning development phases based on the requirements gathered
• Designed use cases for crucial features which had to be implemented in the existing modules
• End to End development of payment posting module in the application
• Co-ordination with the team to meet deadlines as expected

Project: Inventory and Hospital Management system.

The project was based at designing Inventory Management System to handle various inventories pertaining to Hospital. The Hospital Management System was designed to integrate Inventory module, HR Module, Patient Management Module and Finance Module

Responsibilities:

• Acted as an interface between in-house development team and client to facilitate an easy implementation and deployment of the proposed system
• Requirement elicitation from the client to design the system as per their business needs
• Developed part of the modules both front-end and back-end with the team using .NET web technologies along with client side technologies like JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
