My career reflects a continuous effort to combine scientific research with effective classroom teaching, with the belief that research-oriented teaching creates motivated learners and socially responsible graduates. Research Experience
Beginning of My Research Career
My research career formally began in September 2012, when I was appointed as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a UGC-sponsored Major Research Project at the PG and Research Centre of Zoology, Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous), Periyakulam. I worked under the guidance of Dr. Arockiam Thaddeus, Associate Professor in Zoology, from September 2012 to August 2015.
This period was highly significant in shaping my research skills and scientific outlook. I was involved in:

  Field surveys of earthworm populations
  Collection and identification of soil fauna
  Vermicomposting experiments
  Organic waste management studies
  Plant growth assessment
  Laboratory analysis of compost samples
  Statistical interpretation of biological data
  Scientific documentation and publication

The experience gave me practical exposure to ecological research, biodiversity assessment, experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication.
