Pranaam Chandrashekhar

Interned online under Hon'ble Justice Shri Aravind Kumar due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Assisted his Lordship in numerous research activities and handled research for various civil litigations including motor vehicle disputes, property disputes and matrimonial disputes along with research into the workings of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908

Worked in the office of Shri C.V Kumar and Smt. Bhushani Kumar. Was involved in the drafting of numerous legal documents including plaints, interlocutory applications, writ petitions and written statements. The areas of law worked upon included matrimonial law, succession law and motor vehicle law along with constitutional law and the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. Also had the opportunity to attend and witness alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as mediation and conciliation in action. Had the opportunity to learn court processes such as filing as well as attend numerous hearings at the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, the City Civil Court, the Family Court and the High Court of Karnataka, all located in Bengaluru.

Worked as a project intern in Parinaam Foundation, an NGO created by Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. The work involved the Ujjivan Chhote Kadam initiative, a CSR project of the bank. Involved in coordination of all India efforts and reported directly to the Project Manager. Also in charge of compilation of reports and maintenance of records of the project, as well as tracking of progress for various activities. Traveled to observe rural on-site activities and draft reports for management.

Also worked on Parinaam's Urban Ultra Poor Program, a program to fund the education of the urban poor. Activities included fund-raising and conducting educational and extra-curricular activities for the children involved.
