Learnings on the job: They manufacture rubber linings. Gained knowledge on what is the flocking process and why it is done, how different         types of dyes are made depending on customer requirements, how the polymer is made by mixing specific amounts of chemicals and natural rubber. Observing their current process, I suggested to reduce manual labor and save production time, that they install a material cutting machine as an attachment to the conveyor belt.

Learnings on the job: Gained overall knowledge on design and engineering of jackets, decks, living quarters, columns, the different types of welding done at specific areas on the jackets to ensure the structure does not collapse during rough tides, the structure is coated with thermal sprayed aluminum (TSA) to protect the steel from aqueous corrosion.

Learnings on the job: Gained knowledge on servicing of an electric cycle, packaging / delivery, the importance of EV in the current market, its pros and cons. Designed an electric scooter to move inverter batteries (or any other material) within workshop area to reduce fatigue of laborers. Also helped my team design an electric wheelbarrow and luggage- cum-passenger electric carrier.
