• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cutting department.

• Ensuring that fabrics are cut accurately and to do specifications.

• Keeping track of cutting inventory.

• Ensure that final products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

• Overseeing the production process, coordinating activities, and ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly.

• Work with production teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Attend factory meetings to discuss about production status and ongoing problems.

Project done in Productivity improvement in Sewing floor that included:

• Use work aids such as guides and folders to help operators perform tasks more effectively.

• Reduce changeover time by using SMED principles.

Learned about production processes – sourcing, planning, merchandising, sampling, cad, cutting, embroidery, washing, packing, finishing & more, also about layout, workers, staffs, compliances etc. My project includes:

• Line balancing and motion study.

• Merchandising – TNA and style files.

• Studied the concept of spun yarn production, grey fabric production, fiber and yarn package dyeing, knitting (Warp Knitting), textile testing and technical details on machinery and raw materials including their quality aspects both technical as well as for commercial purposes.
